Took charge of LNJP orthopaedic hospital & Trauma centre, Rajbanshi nagar, Patna on 15 March 2024 as Director along with Director in chief health (administration), Govt of Bihar.
This super specialty hospital deserves help & support to deliver specialist treatment to patients.
But, so far it has been treated as a district hospital by public in general.
Robust referral guidelines should be in place to stop exploiting this institution by people who just come for free investigation & medicines while getting treatment elsewhere.
Truant staffs are major concerns to start with.
Outsourcing managements are at the zenith of mismanagement.
Seems a daunting task before me but I will not give up, as I have put in 14 years of my precious time in this set up as Consultant orthopaedic surgeon.
I am in mission mode, now. Held series of meetings with doctor colleagues, PG bond & IGIMS,PMCH DRP doctors, so far.
Trying to have a in house MRI scanner, operational Blood bank besides kickstarting DNB orthopaedic course.
Establishment of a Dedicated Sports injuries & Joint replacement units are also in pipeline.
Seek help & support from administration, colleagues & general public in particular.
